In this video, cohousing expert Aran O’Hashi discusses cohousing and some of its unique benefits and challenges. He presents three kinds of cohousing, and then provides potential cohousing communities with insight as to how to develop a cohousing community. This presentation focuses especially on the “secret sauce” of “communification” and its importance in the process of developing cohousing, and also provides some potential solutions to the issues that might arise when creating a cohousing community. Finally, it discusses the financial possibilities of cohousing as a form of affordable housing.
